S.L. Floor Hardener is a cementitious coloured shield which dries to a mottled durable finish. A specially formulated mixture of Portland Cement, aggregates light fast inorganic pigments, polymers and selflevelling plasticizers which is sold in powder form.

S.L. Floor Hardener is applied by evenly dusting (Dry Shake) ± 7- 8kg/sqm onto a moist screed or onto newly laid ready mix concrete as a hardener. Ensure the concrete or screed floor has expansion joints every 4,5 running metres and around columns and that any protruding walls are isolated with expansion joints which go throughout the depth of the screed. An approved screed into which the SL Floor Hardener is applied, should not be less than 25mm thick. Once the floor hardener has thoroughly dried (4 - 5 days depending on site conditions) it should then be sealed.

S.L. Floor Hardener can be supplied in our full standard Cement Naturals colours, although earth toned shades are recommended.
