Stucco is a pigmented white cement, ultra fine plaster generally applied ± 2mm thick, and is available in a diverse colour range. It has been designed and formulated to give the effect of traditional Italian plasters. Africote Interior Stuccos are ideal for use in high moisture areas such as kitchens and bathrooms. When used in showers it should be sealed with the Twin Pack Polyurethane Sealer. When trowelled on it will give a smooth pigmented mottled effect. Once dried, other than in showers, it is sealed with the Africote Acrylic Matt Sealer. Shellac can be added to the Stucco Mix to give a shiny speckled oyster shell appearance in the plaster.
