This is one of the most traditional antique wood coating finishes popular in the 18th and 19th centuries, used on country-style furniture as well as interior wooden surfaces. The product is formulated from milk extract mixed with pigments to produce subtle mellow colours and is supplied in powder form in 1kg pre-packed units for mixing with water at time of application. Milk Paints were traditionally used to protect and decorate woods, to achieve a soft mottled appearance that ready mixed modern paints can rarely achieve. ![]() |
