Kolorcote-T Africote Kolorcote-T is a durable pigmented cementitious paint supplied in powder form, requiring only the addition of potable water. It's highly thixotropic properties make it ideal for one-coat applications onto ash bricks, cement bricks or building bloakcs and are ideal for stippling. It is based on Portland cement and the product containes both weather and ultra violet resistant chemicals and self-curing properties. It is especially recommended for external bagging where a single coat application is required. Kolorcote-T provides a durable and economic water resistant coating for use directly on brick, block or similar walls, thus eliminating the need for plastering. Kolorcote-T has passed the 24 hour rain penetration test, which is Agrement certified and backed by the CSIR. Kolorcote-T has a rainfall penetration resistance of up to 600mm per annum, as a one coat application, on a single maxi brick or block wall. Over 25 000 houses to date, throughout South Africa, have been painted with Kolorcote-T in the past 10 years. Kolorcote-T 1000 Plus Description and Use Africote Kolorcote-T 1000 Plus is a new, advanced version of Kolorcote-T and has been formulated as a one coat application t owithstand a rainfall in excess of 1000mm per annum without any water penetration. One Coat PVA
Africote One Coat PVA is a water based copolymer paint for interior or exterior use. Africote One Coat PVA is alkali resistant and is designed for a one-coat application onto existing or newly plastered surfaces, cement bricks and buidling blocks. The paint has good adhesion and outsatanding hiding power. One Coat PVA has been SABS tested in June 2011 on a single, maxi brick wall and has passed the 24 hour rain penetration test, for areas with a rainfall in excess of 1000mm per annum plus. The product is being used extensively in the low cost housing market with outstanding results. Over 10 000 houses to date have been coated with One Coat PVA throughout all regions of South Africa since the paint was first introduced in 2007.
