Africote's Contractor's Interior/Exterior PVA as a versatile, general purpose styrene acrylic coating that offers the DIY handyman and/or the trade painting contractor a quality PVA, ideal for most painting projects, with good hiding power. Contractor's Interior/Exterior PVA produces a clean, pure white matt finish that is easy and economical to maintain. Thanks to the alkali resistant properties of the product, it may be applied directly onto newly plastered cement surfaces, thus saving time and the cost of primers and undercoats. Although the product is generally only available in white, a colour tinted version can be made on request, for areas where larger painting projects call for a first base coat paint that is tinted to a similar colour as the subsequent final coloured top coat, which in turn, increases the hiding power of the final and more expensive top coat.
Africote Contractor's PVA is classified environmentally friendly, based on the low VOC content of the product.
